Confession – I have been caught singing along in the supermarket – “Down down, prices are down…” Yep, Coles certainly hit the spot with getting Status Quo to re-record their classic hit, Down Down.  And now Coles has joined with Chugg Entertainment to bring the British rockers down under for a tour in March/April 2013.

The tour will kick off in Sydney on Wednesday 27 March at the Hordern Pavilion, then Brisbane on Thursday 28 March at the Brisbane Convention Centre, Adelaide on Tuesday 2 April at the Thebarton Theatre and finishing up in Melbourne on Wednesday 3 April with a show at the Palais Theatre.

These original barnstorming rockers maintain their remarkable position as one of the longest-standing rock bands in the world – and they have sold an astounding 118 million records.  Wouldn’t mind a dollar for every one of them…

Their upcoming tour will mark nearly 50 incredible years of massive hits and electrifying live performances for the band, and with no sign of slowing down Australian audiences are in for an unforgettable experience.

And look out for the release of the upcoming new studio album that has 14 new tracks plus some golden oldies.  It is called Quid Pro Quo and is a 2CD exclusively available through… you guessed it, Coles.
