This is a fabulous production. The wonderful Lisa McCune reprises her role as Nellie Forbush, Teddy Tahu Rhodes returns as Emile De Beque, Christine Anu is Bloody Mary and Gyton Grantley is Billis (he’s the gay Househusband). The hits keep coming with Some Enchanted Evening, I’m Gonna Wash That Man Right Out Of My Hair, Nothing Like A Dame, Bali Ha’i, Younger Than Springtime, I’m in Love with a Wonderful Guy. More info and tickets here. There will also be seasons in Perth (from November 10) and Adelaide (from December 29).

The Opera Theatre has lift access and wheelchair seating (and companion seating). There are courtesy wheelchairs for visitors who want to have a look around or attend performances.

The Opera House ticketing policy allows customers requiring wheelchair accessible seating to purchase a wheelchair accessible seat for themselves and a seat for their companion at the lowest concession ticket price available for the selected performance. Where no concessions are available, the wheelchair space and one companion seat will be sold at the lowest price available for that event.
